Facilities
Belfast City Park, the City's oldest park, was established in 1904. The park is heavily used across its 17.5 acres. The park is open May 1 to November 15, unless weather conditions make it unfeasible for the park to be open these days, or unless weather conditions and the condition of the park would permit the park to be opened earlier than May 1 or closed later than November 15 (per City Ordinance).
The Belfast City Park pavilion, nestled at the edge of the water, overlooking Penobscot Bay. The pavilion includes five picnic tables and one large grill. Access to the beach at low tide is provided by stairs, and there is a parking lot for pavilion users' use.
The pavilion is rentable for a two-hour block and then you can add-on in one-hour increments. Your overall rental time should include your set-up, event time, and clean-up.
