Facilities
This 2.2 mile converted rail trail starts at the Armistice Footbridge at the bottom of Pierce Street and meanders along the old Belfast Railroad tracks to the City Point Road Trailhead. Along the route there are benches for a brief rest and plenty of vistas of the Passagassawakeag River to include the Upper West Side Rangeway, located at the Upper Bridge Trailhead (mid-trail).
The trail is open to walkers, non-motorized bicycles, wheeled-assistance devices, and dogs on leash (at all times). Please stay to the right for those who need to pass, and call out when you are passing someone. Dog-I-Pot stations are available along the trail to clean-up after your pet, and to dispose of the bag.
