Belfast City Park Pool

The Belfast City Park Pool was built in 1973-1974 and opened to the public in 1974; an upgrade to the filter system from diatomaceous earth to sand filters was installed in 2000-2001. This pool replaced the original city pool located oceanside; that was a natural saltwater pool built in the 1930s. The natural, saltwater pool was closed in the 1960s.

The Belfast City Park Pool has a depth of 10 feet with a three-step entry. There is a small grass lawn for towels or picnic chairs. There are open-air changing rooms and restrooms on-site. Admission is FREE.

Each year, we post the pool operating schedule to include lap swimming and family swim time; once we determine the school year schedule, we'll provide an opening/closing date as well. The pool can be rented on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights for two-hours (6:30-8:30 PM), and group admission is available for those who want to bring their summer camps, scout troops, or sports teams!

Note:

Please allow two-weeks in advance of any rental requests.
Pre-Scheduled Group Admissions are for entries during regular business hours.
Private Pool Rentals occur on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 6:30-8:30 PM.
